Default Dwayna's realm (like fow, uw)

In the beginning and pretty much up until this point and for a good while longer we had the fissure of woe and underworld and they served two purposes.

Fissure of Woe: Place where you craft obsidian armor, where obsidian shards drop
Underworld: Ectos, this is where you got them, just so you could go back to FoW and craft your armor. If you weren't here for that you were here for eternal shields and storm bows.

I figured since both of those have a very dark sort of theme to them it would be nice to have a multi-campaign high end area like those two but opposite in theme. The sky is bright and blue and cloudless, the grass green in a seemingly endless expanse of rolling plains.

If not that, then how about a epic-sized palace in the sky? White and blue marble floors beneath your feet. Massive, open windows staring out at the clouds as you traverse the place.

"But Fox what 'monsters' could you even put in a place that is 'goodly' themed?"

Thats a good question, silly man. You could put the equivalent of GW angels in there, servitors of good. Perhaps in terms of creatures you could have golden dragons or flying lions, something that exhudes a feeling of being majestic, grand, and good.

"But Fox, what would be the purpose to go there?"

I think another super high-end Armor is in order. Why does high-end armor HAVE to be so evil lookin? Sure warriors want to look tough but I look and everything has to have spikes and spiked balls and pointyness everywhere (except paragons, its hard to make them look evil when all their armor is white to begin with).

Or heck, what about holy weapons? Again high-end items tend to be really wicked/pointy/slicey-dicey/hurt-you lookin. Something that would be like the opposite to tormented weapons. Think of a flamberge but instead with golden and/or white feathered wings. Or a scythe that just screams "HOLY MIGHT!" (besides the sunspear scythe being the closest thing to holy lookin)

We could even make use of some materials that have yet to have any use o_o clay bricks and whatnot ring a bell? Bad example but you get the picture.

exactly! Heck there is even ravenheart gloom, a nearly pitch black place! XD My favorite areas in the game are the ones that are the brightest and scenic. But people can only think in dark shades it seems.

Some people can only handle noob-ville for so long.

OT: I would love to see an area like this, and would love to see how my mesmer would look in holy-ish armor, the closest I can get now is white Sunspear. x3

That actually sounds like an elite area dungeon I could go for.

Signed, I think a Pre-Searing style god zone would be really fun.

All is well except there would be nothing to hunt in Dwayna's realm. Unlike Grenth and Balthazar, Dwayna runs the show there.

I agree. There should be an elite area for each of the gods. They all have statues in the same areas you use to go to FOW/UW. Why not have a crazy Lyssa area, or Melandru. Extra armor types would be really cool also.

All I have to say: DOIT DOIT. NOW! - /Signed.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to say - Due to the fact that storylines are always somewhat edited by developers and new changes are created to increase the benefit of playing in PvE areas ( IE: Deldrimor update with added elite items.) a new idea such as that would be a wonderful thing to add to the scenery of the PvE gameplay, such as that which would lead into or bring the comencement of the new GW2 game, or prior to that since we're not very far from its release and time passes really fast these days when you're having fun. I believe indeed with this sort of thing in mind, you could very well create a story in which Dwayna's realm is threatened such as Balthazar's was threatened by the 'Shadow Army,' or the way Grenth's realm was threatened by the 'Chaos Riders.' This type of thing would definetely be heard, especially when you have Anet running around listening closely to everything. I've always thought they were around the corner listening to some of my ideas because alot of them have come to pass. Anyway good luck to you and if your idea goes through I'm sure alot of our fellow players would be grateful. Anyway - As always heres one tip for the rest of you guys: When I said diamonds and onyx gemstones would be put to some sort of use, it came true and there came the destroyer weapons, but at first I thought it would be an armor type thing, instead we were greeted by a creative set, although not alot of people appreciate the idea, I'm sure a new material, or one that was removed in the past beta will be re-introduced. So lastly - Start saving up your cash people, start saving up every penny because whatever comes about from this, its going to be costly.

If the whole area is a goody goody, friendly kinda place it could be set up so that your team has to help out all the godly residents when they are raided by forces of evil who got in somehow, hmmm sounds kinda familiar, but i'm up for a new area.
